Everybody wants the American dream. We all want to be successful, live in big fancy houses and drive nice expensive cars. It is a way to feel good about ourselves for all of our hard work and to show all of our haters that we made it inspite of their negativity. But living high off the hog comes at a price most of us cannot pay.
These luxury items of pride and status tend to drain our bank accounts quicker then we can put money in them. We stress month after month on how we can split payments while acting as if everything is perfect in our world. We try so hard to impress others that we end up destroying ourselves in the process.
I got news for you, most people do not care about you, your car or your house that you live in. Sure, some will envy you, like you and hate you for your possessions. But most people are so self absorbed in themselves and how others are looking at them to care about what you got.
If you can easily afford these luxury items, then feel free to live it up. If you cannot, let them go and appreciate what you have and be free of the financial burden that comes with high-end toys. These folks that you're trying to impress, will not help you pay for them and will laugh at you when you crash and burn. They're just not worth it. Take care and God bless.
