THE BLUFF: HOW ARGYLE SOCKS CAN CHANGE LIVES IN AMERICA

25 years ago, I was homeless and sleeping on the streets of Atlanta. An older Jewish man in a vintage Rolls Royce pulled up next to me, got out of his car and saw that I had been robbed of my shoes and socks. He took off his argyle socks, put them on my feet and said…

“Just as these socks are covering your feet, God will cover your life. When you become a success, do this for someone else.”

25 years later, I returned the favor to Inspirational Rapper Akeem Brodie. He was performing in the Bluff, one of the most hardest hit areas of poverty and crime in Atlanta. I was privileged to put a pair of argyle socks on his feet on stage as he launched his nationwide ministry to take the love of Christ to the people. God loves us ALL and we will LOVE each other.

THANK YOU to Frankie Holbrook, Ophir Yah Tukes, Phill Williams, Tymon Moore, Shine His Light Ministries and all the wonderful volunteers that made this event special. HUGE THANK YOU to local law enforcement and security for keeping everyone safe. #Bluff
